Executive events and VIP gatherings
Creating the setting for a good conversation.
Executive events bring together people whose time and attention call for particular care. At Mariona Agency we design leadership meetings, client experiences and invitations hosted by the brand, each in a format suited to its purpose. From Barcelona, we connect content, space and hospitality so the relationship can develop naturally.
Detail matters when it improves the experience
At a small gathering, quality is felt in the welcome, in how easy it is to talk and in the pace of the programme. The space has to suit the kind of relationship the company wants to build, with a brand presence kept in proportion.
We work from the guests’ profile, the context and the host’s expectations. A leadership meeting, a private presentation and a client dinner each call for a different balance between content and conversation. That reading guides every decision, from the invitation to the farewell.

How we think about executive events
When guests’ time counts, any friction shows.
We look after the welcome, the pace and the venue so conversation comes easily.
Host and guests can give their attention to what matters: the relationship.
Animation: scattered guests waiting and an over-tight programme come together around a table, with a welcome from the door and a programme with pauses; then conversations flow across the table between every seat.
Clear Flow and Human First
At an executive gathering, logistics should be invisible. We settle invitations, arrivals, timings and services in advance, so the programme runs without interruption and nobody has to think about what comes next.
We start from the guest: who they are, what they expect and how much time they are giving us. We take as much care over the welcome and the conversation as over the content, because that is where the relationship is built.
What we take care of
Format and narrative
We define the structure of the gathering and the role of each moment. The programme needs a clear intention and enough flexibility for the conversation to find its space.
Venue and styling
We assess suitability, access, privacy and how the space can be used. Styling and brand elements blend discreetly into the character of the venue.
Hospitality and guest journey
We plan the reception, guest care and the sequence of services. Transfers and other needs can be added to the scope when the project calls for it.
Coordination and direction
We organise suppliers, timings and responsibilities so the gathering runs smoothly. Invitation, image and communication protocols are agreed with the client.
Designing from the guest’s point of view
We look at what each person needs to know, where they need to go and what might feel awkward or unnecessary. An overloaded programme or too much branding can harm the very relationship you want to look after. Production has to make the experience easy, keeping the host and their guests at the centre.

NTT DATA · MWC 2025
During MWC 2025 week, we conceived and produced a client gathering for NTT DATA away from the trade fair grounds. The space, the set design and the hospitality were organised around the relationship between the guests and the brand.

What sets an executive event apart from other corporate events?
The focus is on the guests’ profile, the quality of the relationship and individual care throughout the experience. The format usually calls for more conversation and an especially well-judged programme.
Can you work with a venue we have already chosen?
Yes. We study its possibilities and constraints to build the right proposal. A site visit and coordination with the venue help pin down what can be produced and how to organise it.
Is photo and video coverage compulsory?
No. It is decided according to the purpose and the preferences of the client and the guests. If there is coverage, we agree the approach, the moments and the intended uses of the material in advance.
