Product launches and presentations

Let the first encounter explain why it matters.

A launch introduces something new and builds the context to understand it. At Mariona Agency we conceive and produce product presentations for clients, teams, distributors and brand guests. We define the story, the staging and the experience so the product takes centre stage from the very first contact.

Turning features into a story that matters

The audience needs to understand what the new product brings and where it fits into their life or their work. That is why we start with the value proposition, the guests’ expectations and the product’s relationship with the brand.

The presentation can be built around a demonstration, an experience, a tour or a piece of staging. We choose the format according to what best lets people discover and understand the product. The reveal is part of a sequence that begins with the invitation and continues in the materials that remain afterwards.

How we see launches

A list of features doesn’t explain why a product matters.

We build the context and the moment in which the product is revealed.

Those attending understand what it offers and step closer to discover it for themselves.

Animation: a covered product beside a long list of features is revealed under a light and the list shrinks to the essentials; then people step closer to discover it.

Clear Flow and Human First

Clear Flow

A clear launch answers the guest’s question early on: what is it, and what does it change for me? We organise script, demonstration and materials so the message arrives whole before, during and after the event.

Human First

We present the product to people, not to an auditorium. We leave time for them to come closer, ask questions and try it, because the impression each person forms is the one that counts in the end.

What we build around the launch

  1. Concept and script

We define the presentation idea and the sequence of messages. Every talk and every visual element has to inform or prepare the ground for the product experience.

  2. Space and set design

We design the relationship between product, guests and setting. We consider visibility, access, display and opportunities for interaction from the very first production decisions.

  3. Content and materials

We develop the agreed graphic and audiovisual pieces: invitations, screens, presentations or supporting content. Communication keeps the same standard before, during and after the event.

  4. Production and direction

We coordinate set-up, technical requirements, timings and teams within the agreed scope. The staging has to work with the real product and the specific conditions of the venue.

Leaving room to discover

After the presentation, people need to come closer, ask questions and form their own impression. We plan those moments with the same care as the stage: demonstrations, conversations or display areas. When photo or video coverage is planned, the route is also prepared to capture material that will be useful for communication afterwards.

How we prepare the presentation

  1. Understand

We study the product, the audience, the objectives and any display or demonstration requirements.

  2. Clarify

We choose the central argument and the launch format.

  3. Design

We develop the script, the space, the content and the sequence of the experience.

  4. Refine

We check run-throughs, visibility, timings and coordination with the product team.

  5. Launch

We direct the event on the day and prepare the agreed content deliverables.

Questions about launches

Does it always have to be a big event?

No. A small gathering, a demonstration or a presentation to distributors may be more suitable. The format depends on the audience, the message and the product’s circumstances.

Can you integrate the launch into a campaign?

Yes. The presentation can share its concept, visual language and materials with the campaign. Defining that relationship from the start helps make better use of the production and keeps continuity across channels.

What do you need to know about the product?

Its value proposition, approved features, availability and any handling or display requirements. We also agree what can be communicated, to whom and when.
