Naming, branding and packaging for Yummy Yabby
Mariona Agency created Yummy Yabby, a Barcelona restaurant that pairs South-East Asian cooking with a laid-back Australian attitude: from the naming to the packaging, a fresh, vibrant identity full of character that works just as well in the restaurant as on the delivery bag.

Branding
Flavour that pops, a brand that connects.
An identity you taste with your eyes too: intense colour, bold typography and a visual universe that works just as well in the restaurant as on the delivery bag.

Applications
Every bite tells a story.
Because at Yummy Yabby every bite tells a story. And the brand helps tell it better.
The project
The challenge
A new food concept, fusing South-East Asian cooking with a laid-back Australian attitude, needed a brand to match: fresh, vibrant and recognisable, both in the restaurant and on delivery platforms.
The approach
Mariona Agency built the brand from the name up: a logo with a bold stroke, an intense palette of five colours (orange, pink, red, turquoise and green), two typefaces that adapt to any format and a system of applications for packaging, tape, stickers, coasters, bags, cards and posters.
The result
A brand that whets the appetite and connects with a young, urban, adventurous audience. The relationship continued with the website, the restaurant’s menus, the posters for its events and its social media communication.
